As a content marketer, I create cross-channel content tailored to connect with readers and measurably impact overarching marketing goals. I specialize in sharing complex, nuanced information in an accessible way. I have researched and written about a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: mental health and addiction recovery, HR industry trends and best practices, leadership development, spiritual practice, and local community events. My work has appeared in essay collections, the SHRM Executive Quarterly, the Recovery.com blog, and Medium publications such as Age of Awareness, An Injustice!, CARRE4, and The Startup.

I have managed and coached teams of up to five writers at a time, designing bespoke training programs for junior team members. I have created and implemented comprehensive style guides for numerous clients, ensuring all published assets adhered to their standards. As Content Editor at Hone Copywriting, I developed a trauma-informed approach to content creation that I continue to use in all my work.

I design and present webinars for a national audience of HR professionals and business leaders. These sessions are highly researched, sharing background information and practical strategies HR leaders can immediately put to use. My work promotes psychological safety, mental health, inclusion, and belonging, empowering attendees to improve company culture on a large scale.

I am a board member of The Breathe Network, a nonprofit connecting survivors of sexual assault to trauma-informed, sliding-scale resources for recovery. In my past career as a massage therapist, my private practice focused on treating LGBTQIA+ survivors of trauma and assault. As a core member of the ribcage collective from 2012-14, I co-hosted and produced events that raised over $75,000 to support nonprofits and social justice efforts throughout Chicago.
